Brussels hosted last 1-20 February a joint meeting of the BEREC Project Times on Remedies and Regulatory Accounting, which served to discuss various issues associated to BEREC’s proposed response to the preliminary version of the European Commission Recommendation on non-discrimination and costing methods (proposed recommendation). This BEREC proposed response will be approved by the March 2013 plenary session.
In sum, as BEREC unequivocally agrees with the goals set out by the European Commission (EC), namely in the Digital Agenda for Europe, it aims to manifest several reservations regarding means proposed by the EC (in the proposed recommendation) to meet those objectives.
