ANACOM has released the 2012 edition of the Communications Sector in Portugal Yearbook (electronic communications and postal services).
In addition to the development of the communications market and its representation in the Portuguese economy between 2007 and 2011, the Yearbook also presents data on the stock market performance of the companies operating in the sector in Portugal in the period from June 2011 to June 2012 The publication also includes information on companies active in the national communications sector.
For the first time, the Yearbook includes information on revenues derived from electronic communications and postal activities as well as employment linked to these activities.
ANACOM provides this type of information on the sector, to ensure that market players have solid data which enables informed and updated choices by those who invest, manage and make use of electronic communications and postal services.
