By determination of 29 November 2012, ANACOM decided not to oppose the proposed revision of the residential tariff of the telephone service at a fixed location within the scope of the universal service, as presented by PT Comunicações (PTC), given its compliance with applicable regulatory principles, particularly in terms of compatibility with the applicable price-cap.
The new residential tariff is expected to enter into force from 1 January 2013.
