Brussels hosted last 23 October a meeting of the expert drafting group on issues associated to revision of the recommendation on relevant markets. This group was set up under the BEREC working group on Convergence and Economic Analysis.
The meeting’s main goals were the following: (i) to analyse questions contained in the European Commission (EC) consultation on the recommendation on relevant markets; (ii) to begin talks associated to eventual revision of the relevant markets, bearing in mind the various national regulatory authority (NRA) opinions on this subject; and (iii) to co-ordinate and plan the work to be carried out in this area.
