By determination of 16 November 2012, ANACOM has approved the decision to renew the temporary digital terrestrial television (DTT) network license granted to PT Comunicações (PTC) for a further 180 days and with effect from 15 November.
It was likewise determined that PTC is to inform ICP-ANACOM, within 15 days, as to the definitive solution which it proposes for the DTT network upon expiry of this temporary license and to the reasoning giving basis to this proposal.
The temporary DTT network license was initially granted by determination of 18 May 2012.
