Accessibility - Global Accessibility Reporting Initiative (GARI)

ANACOM is making access to the Global Accessibility Reporting Initiative (GARI) available on its website. The goal of this initiative is to inform consumers with special needs about the various accessibility features of different mobile devices, helping them find the most appropriate equipment according to their needs.

GARI is a database of technical features according to European, American and Australian standards, which make it possible to identify the equipment best suited to different types of special needs.

The initiative comes from the Mobile Manufacturers Forum (MMF), an international association of telecommunications equipment manufacturers established in 1998, whose mission is to facilitate the funding of research projects and cooperation in the field of standardization, regulatory affairs, health, accessibility and environment.
