On 15 October, ANACOM received a delegation from the Republic of Korea, with 25 members from different entities linked to the information and communication technology (ICT) sector, including the National Information Society Agency, Ministry of Public Administration and Security and the National Commission for Science and Technology.
The delegation was received by João Confraria, a member of ANACOM's Management Board. Issues discussed included questions related to universal service, broadband and investment in Long Term Evolution (LTE).
From the meeting, the parties concluded that maintaining contacts will bring potential benefits to both sides, in particular with regard to the sharing of experiences and the exchange of information on the sector's evolution.
