By determination of 11 October 2012, ANACOM has approved the final decision related to the failure by PT Comunicações, S.A. (PTC) to comply with determination of 14 June 2012 concerning amendments to the leased lines reference offer (LLRO) and reference Ethernet leased lines offer (RELLO).
This decision determines that PTC immediately correct and adjust the LLRO as follows:
(a) The monthly charge applying to end-to-end circuits and half-circuit components of N×64 Kbps partial circuits with speeds exceeding 1536 Kbps under the LLRO are to be reduced by 35 percent, i.e., the price must be equal to the price applying to 2048 Kbps circuits;
(b) The installation and monthly charges applying to internal extensions of N×64 Kbps partial circuits with speeds exceeding 1536 Kbps are to be maintained as applicable under the LLRO as in force prior to the determination of 14 June 2012.
These changes have retroactive effect from 6 August 2012, when any changes stemming from the decision of 14 June 2012 should have come into effect.
