Report prepared by the European Network and Information Security Agency (ENISA) defining the characteristics and reasons for cyber-insurance and describing the potential obstacles to the development of a cyber-insurance European market, presenting four recommendations to overcome identified issues. The document highlights the fact that cyber-insurance is a major concern for policy makers at a European and national level, for businesses and citizens, and highlights that traditional coverage offered by European insurance providers may, with some exceptions, not comprehensively address digital risk.
