The University of Oporto will host on March 22-23, 2012, the “3rd Workshop on the Economics of ICTs”, jointly organized by the Center for Economics and Finance at the University of Oporto (CEF.UP) and by the Center for Advanced Studies in Management and Economics of the University of Évora (CEFAGE-UE), under the sponsorship of ANACOM.
The following topics will be addressed: young researchers, investment, mobile telecommunications and network effects.
The ANACOM prize, in its economic dimension, will be awarded in the course of this event to the best paper on scientific research applied to communications in the field of economy. ANACOM will also co-organize the round table to be held on the 23rd, under the topic “Network Neutrality”, which will be moderated by Amado da Silva, the Authority’s Chairman, who at the end of the event will also award the referred prize.
