Observatório da Comunicação (OberCom) has released the report ''Digital Terrestrial Television in Portugal - Characterization of Access'', which examines the perception of the Portuguese population in terms of the nomenclature associated with the process of switching over to the digital terrestrial television (DTT) signal and characterizes the form of access to television, in light of factors such as gender, age group, level of education and region of residence.
This is one of a series of reports published by OberCom, based on surveys representing the Portuguese population and conducted between 2008 and 2011, updated in December 2011, on the arrival of DTT in Portugal.
