On 25 November 2011 and pending opinion of this Authority's Advisory Council, ANACOM has decided, with suspended effect, to declare that the proposal to amend the residential tariff of the telephone service at a fixed location for 2012 within the scope of the universal service, as presented by PT Comunicações on 4 November, is in compliance with prevailing regulatory principles. The proposal presented by PT Comunicações entails a revision of the main tariff and alternative tariff of the fixed telephone service, applying from 1 January 2012.
