Revocation of the right of use of frequencies associated to TDAB service

By determination of 3 March 2011, ANACOM decided to approve a draft decision on the revocation of the act allocating to RTP - Rádio e Televisão de Portugal the right of use of frequencies associated to the Terrestrial Digital Audio Broadcasting (T-DAB) service.

This draft decision has been submitted to a prior hearing of RTP under the terms of articles 100 and 101 of the Administrative Procedure Code, as well as to the general consultation procedure set forth in articles 8 of the Electronic Communications Law, with a period of 20 working days provided for both procedures.

It was likewise decided to notify the Entidade Reguladora para a Comunicação Social (Regulatory Authority for the Media), which may assess the issue within 20 working days, if it so wishes.
