Brussels served as venue last 1 December 2010 for the first plenary meeting of the European Regulators Group for Postal Services (ERGP).
The meeting saw approval of the Group’s rules of procedure and 2011 working programme. Agreement was also reached to develop the following topics: regulatory accounting/price regulation, access regulation, cross-border issues, net costs of universal service obligations and monitoring market results. Elections were also held: ARCEP was elected chair, Postcom (United Kingdom) first vice-chair (and chair in 2012) and PTS (Sweden) second vice-chair.
