The joint project team (PT) of the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) and the Radio Spectrum Policy Group (RSPG) held a meeting last 9 September in Brussels. This PT BEREC/RSPG meeting was co-chaired by Italy’s AGCOM and the United Kingdom’s Ofcom.
The proposed report on “Transitional Issues in the Mobile Sector in Europe” was practically finished at the gathering and will be presented at the next RSPG meeting for comments by that group. The participants also continued work on preparing the report on “Infrastructure and Spectrum Sharing in Mobile/Wireless Networks”. Compared to the other report above, this draft should be relatively less advanced. But depending on progress made in coming weeks as the work continues electronically, it is still possible for this report to be presented at the next RSPG meeting.
Lastly, and only if deemed necessary per the outcome of the next RSPG meeting, a meeting of this PT was scheduled for this 29 November.
