Copenhagen hosted last 29-30 June the 11th meeting of project team (PT) 45 of the Frequency Management working group (WG FM).
The gathering served to develop the content of various draft reports being prepared by PT45, two to be completed in April and September 2011, respectively concerning spectrum requirements for wireless microphones and future possibilities for radio distribution by means of eventual platforms for distributing audio broadcasting services. Another report to finalise in May 2011 concerns technical parameters for future digital systems in Band II (87.5-108 MHz), which will be a technical supplement for ECC Report 141.
PT45 also finished work on preparing the draft report on technical criteria and parameters for use of the 1452-1479.5 MHz band by terrestrial mobile multimedia systems and decided to submit the final document to WG FM so that it can be approved for public consultation.
This project team’s next meeting will be held this 15-16 December in Copenhagen.
