The elections taking place on occasion of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Plenipotentiary Conference (PP-10) concluded on 8 October 2010 for the following posts:
- Secretary-General - Hamadoun Touré, Mali;
- Vice Secretary-General - Houlin Zhao, China;
- Director of Radiocommunication Bureau (BR) – Francois Rancy, France;
- Director of Telecommunication Standardization Bureau (TSB) - Malcolm Johnson, United Kingdom;
- Director of Telecommunication Development Bureau (BDT) – Brahima Sanou, Burkina Faso;
- Members of Radio Regulations Board (RRB); and
- Members of the Council.
Portugal was not among the 48 States elected to seats on the ITU Council. For Region B (Western Europe), the following States have seats on the Council: France, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Sweden, Italy, Turkey and Greece.
