By determination of 28 September 2010, ANACOM has given approval to the draft decision on the designation and availability of the 790-862 MHz sub-band for the provision of electronic communication services in accordance with Decision 2010/267/EU, with consequent amendment to the QNAF - Quadro Nacional de Atribuição de Frequências (National Table of Frequency Allocations). It is noted however that the availability of this sub-band before 2015 depends on the establishment of technical and geographic conditions which provide for the compatibility of usage, including between Morocco and Spain.
This draft decision is submitted to the general consulting procedure, whereby interested parties are given until 3 November 2010 to submit comments, which can be sent by email to proj.dec.800@anacom.ptmailto:proj.dec.800@anacom.pt. It was likewise decided that notification shall be made to the ERC - Entidade Reguladora para a Comunicação Social (Media Regulatory Authority, which is also given a period of 20 working days to give its position.
Once the consultation procedure is concluded, the responses received will be published on this website. As such, any items that are confidential should be clearly marked as such.
