The main problems and challenges faced in the transition of Portugal’s telecommunications market and its current situation, with particular focus on the functions and relations of regulatory bodies, operators / service providers, prices’ evolution and the main measures for implementing the new regulatory framework, were some of the issues addressed at the 14 September meeting between the Chairman of the Board of ANACOM and Inna Steinbuka, Chairman of the Latvian Public Utilities Commission (PUC). The PUC regulates different sectors, including telecommunications and mail services.
