The Information for Development Program (infoDev), housed at the World Bank, together with the Telecommunication Development Bureau (BDT) of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), is going to develop an e-access toolkit on telecommunication regulation. This toolkit will be based on the already existing Telecommunications Regulation Handbook, developed by infoDev and by the consultants McCarthy Tétrault LLP, with the support of ITU, who will update and develop the original contents.
This new access toolkit, which will provide examples of best practices, reference documents, reference literature and other relevant information, will assist political decision-makers and regulators to take decisions.
