A press release on the 12th ERG plenary meeting, which was held on the 10th and 11th of February 2005, is available at the website of the European Regulators Group (ERG). In particular, this meeting resulted in the approval of a common statement on the regulatory approaches concerning the Voice over IP (VoIP) issue.
Kip Meek, Executive member of the Ofcom Board of Administration, has been appointed as ERG Chairman and should take office by January 2006.
Ofcom is the British sectorial regulator.
