Geneva hosted last 14 June the eighth meeting of the ITU Council working group on Human Resources Management. Standing out among the subjects discussed were the drafting of a code of ethics for ITU staff and the implementation of a Strategy Plan for Human Resources. To that end, the participants debated the possibility of increasing the employee retirement age. The discussion is still in an initial phase, so the results were not conclusive.
