On 23 and 24 September 2010, the Portuguese Committee of URSI held its fourth congress at the Portuguese Communications Foundation in Lisbon on the theme ''Personal Radio Communications: short range networks and RFID''.
The Portuguese Committee of URSI - International Union of Radio Science is responsible, on a national basis, for stimulating, promoting and co-ordinating studies in the areas of radioelectric, telecommunications, and electronics science, whereas ANACOM is responsible for the organisation of the works.
The Congress presented national and international papers and projects related to its theme ''Personal Radio Communications: short range networks and RFID''.
This Congress was organized in partnership with the IEEE Portugal Section.
