Alteration of GSM and UMTS licences (draft decision)

By determination of 31 March 2010, ANACOM has given approval to a draft decision on the unification into a single title of the conditions applicable to the exercise of the rights of use of frequencies allocated to Sonaecom, TMN and to Vodafone Portugal for the provision of the land mobile service, in accordance with GSM 900/1800 and UMTS technologies.

It was likewise decided to submit the draft decision to the prior hearing of Sonaecom, TMN and Vodafone, under the terms of articles 100 and 101 of the Code of Administrative Procedure, for a period of 20 working days, and also to the general consultation procedure set out in article 8 and 20 of Law of Electronic Communications, for which an equal period has been provided for the submission of responses.
