The European Commission, in comments already made publicly available, has accepted the proposal submitted by ANACOM concerning the assessment of significant market power (SMP) as regards transit services in the fixed public telephone network (market 10).
ANACOM shall now take into account the comments of the Commission, as well as those of national regulatory authorities (NRA) of other Member States which are made known, being entitled to adopt the resulting measure, accordingly notifying the Commission thereof.
As regards the wholesale unbundled access market (market 11 of the Commission Recommendation 2003/311/EC, of 11 February 2003), the Commission has been notified of the final decision on market definition, assessment of SMP and imposition of regulatory obligations, following the determination of ANACOM of 30 March.
