By determination of 10 March 2010, ANACOM has given PT Comunicações authorisation to make amendments to the digital terrestrial television (DTT) network associated with multiplexer A (Mux A) of the Autonomous Region of the Azores, subsequent to a request made to this effect.
These alterations do not impact compliance, once deployment of the network is concluded, of the coverage obligations of the terrestrial component which have already been established in the respective rights of use of frequencies. These obligations require that 87.26 per cent of the national population receive coverage, and a minimum of 87.36 per cent of the population in the Autonomous Region of the Azores.
The modifications which have now been approved are enacted under this title of right of use.
