Macau is hosting as from one of June the XIII Association of Postal and Telecommunications Operators of the Portuguese-speaking Countries and Territories (AICEP), under the theme ''Digital Generations''.
Up until 3rd June, this Forum will be debating the binomial issue “New generations” and “New information and communication technology” throughout several outlooks and workshops on matters such as Society, Regulation, Industry and Services, Telecommunications, Multimedia, Stamp Collecting and Postal Services. This meeting should also produce recommendations regarding the training plan and the development of projects in this field, an important area to be consolidated within AICEP.
Several of this sector’s personalities are attending this Forum. The Secretary of Transportation and Public Works of Macau, as well as the chairmen of Macau’s Postal Services and of the Telecommunications Company of Macau, are also expected.
Participants of this Forum will visit the Communications Museum, which will only be officially inaugurated in September.
