ANACOM has decided, by determination of 11 November 2009, to amend the recommendation on the "Model of Disclosure" of information which, pursuant to the Quality of Service Regulation (Regulation No. 46/2005, published on 14 June and amended by Regulation No. 372/2009, in turn published on 28 August and amended by Declaration No. 2457/2009 of 6 October, whereby it was republished), shall be made available to end-users by companies that provide the service of access to the public telephone network at a fixed location and the publicly available telephone service at a fixed location (FTS).
In this context, it was likewise decided to recommend to the companies providing the FTS that they adopt this model from 30 April 2010, when information will be provided for the first time on quality of service with respect to the quality of service parameters set out in the Quality of Service Regulation currently in force.
This new model amends the model approved, also by way of recommendation, by determination of 24 September 2008, which was defined based on Quality of Service Regulation then in force. That regulation has in the meantime been amended by Regulation No. 372/2009 28 August, whereby it became necessary to amend the model of disclosure originally approved.
