ANACOM has announced that there are two winning bidders of the single round of bidding held during the distribution phase of the auction for the allocation of rights of use of frequencies for Broadband Wireless Access, held between 9am on 9 February and 5pm of 11 February 2010. These winning bidders are:
- Bravesensor, Unipessoal, Lda., and
- Onitelecom, Infocomunicações, S.A.
It was also announced that Município de Sintra, also accepted into the auction, was not declared a winner.
In view of the results, ANACOM announces that there will be a further round of bidding for the assignment phase regarding geographic zones 1 and 2, taking place between 9am on 1 March and 5pm of 3 March 2010, in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 1 of article 23 of the Auction Regulation, as approved by Regulation No. 427/2009 of 29 October, as rectified by Declaration No. 2930/2009 of 27 November.
