By determination of 10 February 2010, ANACOM has given approval to the final decision on the definition of the methodology to be used for calculating the cost of capital of PT Comunicações (PTC) for the three-year period 2009-2011.
Approval was likewise given to the report on the prior hearing and public consultation to which the corresponding draft decision was submitted, pursuant to determination of 17 November 2009. Under this consultation, commentary was received from the European Commission and from the following entities: AR Telecom, OniTelecom, Grupo PT (comprising Portugal Telecom, SGPS, PT Comunicações, PT Prime and TMN), Sonaecom, ZON TV Cabo Portugal and Easytalk.
The adopted decision was notified to the European Commission to the regulatory authorities of the other Member States, under the terms of and pursuant to the provisions of article 57 of Law No. 5/2004 of 10 February.
