By determination of 17 February 2010, ANACOM decided to declare that the proposal to amend the residential tariff of the fixed telephone service, within the scope of the Universal Service, is in compliance with the regulatory principles in force, in particular in terms of its compatibility with the applicable price-cap, and with respect both to the option applicable by default – main tariff – and the optional tariff available upon the request of users – alternative tariff. The proposal in question was presented by PTC on 08 February 10 and amended on 12 February 10.
The amendment to this tariff was submitted to the Advisory Council of ANACOM, pursuant to the provisions of point c) of article 37 of the Statutes of this Authority, as approved by Decree-Law No. 309/2001 of 7 December.
