Subsequent to the amendment of the Quality of Service Regulation (Regulation No. 46/2005 of 14 June, amended by Regulation No. 372/2009 of 28 August, republished pursuant to Statement of rectification No. 2457/2009 of 6 October), the forms which companies providing the service of access to the public telephone network at a fixed location and of the publicly available telephone service (FTS) are recommended to use for reporting information to ANACOM on the respective parameters of quality of service, determined pursuant to the current version of the Regulation in question (QSR), are now available. One of the forms applies to offers directed at residential customers and the other directed at non-residential customers.
These forms are to be completed not only with quarterly information on the performance levels achieved by each company, measured according to the parameters of quality of service established in the QSR, but also with the performance targets which each company proposes for the current year with respect to the same parameters.
In accordance with paragraph 1 of article 6 and paragraphs 1 and 3 of article 8 of the QSR, the first set of information on the performance levels measured according to the parameters of quality of service must be sent to ANACOM by the 30 April 2010 and must include data from the first quarter of 2010. By the same date, companies must also send ANACOM information on the performance targets which the provider proposes for 2010.
It should be noted that the use of these forms is recommended exclusively for reporting information on quality of service to this authority and not as a means of disclosing this information to end-users. To inform end-users, ANACOM recommends the use of a specific form, approved on 11 November 2009.
