The new annual questionnaires on electronic communications (EC) and postal services (PS) have been posted on ANACOM's website, these questionnaires are to be completed by the respective operators and providers in support of ANACOM’s remit of overseeing the development of the sector and for the purposes of ANACOM’s annual publication, including those resulting from its legal and statutory obligations.
The information provided in these questionnaires on the identification of the operators and providers and the characterisation of their activity will only be used internally by ANACOM, as part of its oversight of the communication sector, except with respect to details that are already in the public domain (company name, contacts, directors and 1st level shareholders). In line with previous years, it is expected that these will be published as part of the ''Communications Sector in Portugal Yearbook'', which includes information on the entities operating in the sector.
In the notice sent to operators and providers, ANACOM has stipulated that these questionnaires must be completed and returned no later than 30 consecutive days following their receipt, and should preferably be sent in electronic format, by email to dee.stats@anacom.ptmailto:dee.stats@anacom.pt or, alternatively, by post.
