ANACOM has approved, by determination of 16 December 2009, the draft decision on the definition of product markets and geographic markets, evaluation of SMP and the imposition, maintenance, amendment or withdrawal of regulatory obligations in relation to the market for the retail provision of leased lines (market 7 of European Commission Recommendation 2003/311/EC of 11 February) and in the wholesale markets for the provision of terminating segments (old market 13, now market 6 of European Commission Recommendation 2007/879/EC of 17 December) and trunk segments of leased lines (market 14 of European Commission Recommendation 2003/311/EC of 11 February).
This draft is subject to the general consultation procedure laid down in article 8 of the Law of Electronic Communications (Law No 5/2004 of 10 February) and to the prior hearing of interested parties, under the terms established in the Code of Administrative Procedure, whereas a period of 30 working days is allowed for the submission of comments in the context of both consultation processes. As such, comments must be received no later than 3 February 2010 and should preferably be sent by e-mail to "mercados_circuitos@anacom.pt". Each email may contain one or more files as long as the total size of all files does not exceed 10 megabytes and, if necessary, comments may be divided into two or more emails.
Once the consultation process is concluded, the responses received will be published on this website, whereby interested parties should clearly indicate any items considered confidential.
