Cases initiated in 2010


The four cases initiated in 2010 refer to special administrative actions in respect of determinations on electronic communications:

  • Special administrative action brought by ZON - TV Cabo Portugal, S.A. seeking nullity of the act of issuing license ICP-ANACOM11/99FWA, issued in favour of Bragatel for exploration of the FWA system and formalized in License no. ICP-11/99-FWA, or seeking alternatively, that the revocation of the license enacted without retroactive effects reported to December 2004 - which was enacted by ICP-ANACOM determination of 19 August 2009 - be declared illegal; ICP-ANACOM submitted its response on 3 May 2010 - the case is pending;

  • Special administrative action brought by SONAECOM - Serviços de Comunicações, S.A., challenging ICP-ANACOM's determination of 14 January 2009, which approved the final decision on the definition of product and geographic markets, SMP assessment and the imposition, maintenance, amendment or withdrawal of regulatory obligations in the markets of wholesale (physical) network infrastructure access at a fixed location and wholesale broadband access; ICP-ANACOM submitted its response on 7 June 2010 - the case is pending;

  • Special Administrative Action presented by PT Comunicações, seeking partial annulment of ICP-ANACOM’s determination of 17 February 2010 - amendments to the Reference Unbundling Offer (RUO) 1;  ICP-ANACOM submitted its response on 19 October 2010 - the case is pending;

  • Special administrative action brought by Vodafone Portugal challenging ICP-ANACOM determination of 30 July 2010 - decision on the request for intervention submitted by Radiomóvel seeking access or interconnection of its mobile trunking service network with the networks of PTC, Sonaecom, TMN and Vodafone 2; ICP-ANACOM submitted its response on 15 December 2010 - the case is pending.
