In the first half of 2023, 4/5P offers were the most used, with 2.5 million subscribers. The average monthly revenue per subscriber for all service bundles recorded its highest annual growth since 2016.
In 2022, international parcels accounted for 30.7% of traffic and 50.8% of revenues. Around 98.7% of international parcels received in Portugal and 84.8% of outbound international parcels originated from or were destined for countries in the European Economic Area.
At the end of March 2023, there were 9.9 million actual users of the mobile Internet access service in Portugal (7.5% more than in the same quarter of 2022), with each user consuming an average of 8.8 GB per month.
Fibre optics was the main form of access to fixed broadband Internet, with 64.4% of total accesses. Total fixed broadband Internet traffic increased by 16.4%, and the average monthly traffic per access was 270 GB.
In 1st quarter 2023, the number of subscription TV subscribers in Portugal increased by 2.9%. Around 62% of subscribers received the service over optical fibre.
In the first quarter of 2023, the number of residential customers for high-speed fixed services reached 3.6 million. Approximately nine out of ten new high-speed network customers have subscribed to a fibre-based service.
