Decisions relevant to countries with economies in transition

Approval was given to a new Resolution - Resolution Extending the provisions in ITU documents relating to developing countries to apply to countries with economies in transition [COM5/1] - which was proposed by the group of central and eastern European countries. This resolution aims to extend the provisions of ITU texts applicable to developing countries to those countries which are recognised as having economies in transition (similar decisions have already been taken in WTDC and WTSA).
