Clarifications for the procedures for the attribution of Carrier Selection Codes
In the existence of the situation foreseen in point 9, all interested candidates shall make a written declaration in the appropriate envelope of the withdrawal of their request for the attribution of the code for which there is a conflict situation, so that the number of envelopes handed in is equal to the number of candidates interested in the attribution of the code in question.
For the effects of that laid down in point 10, candidates who declare the withdrawal of their request for that code must also declare their preference for a new selection code from those still available, in the same envelope, understanding that "codes still available" means codes not attributed until that moment and which are not the object of any conflict.
The procedures foreseen in points 9 and 10 will be repeated when two or more candidates declare the withdrawal of their request for code(s) in conflict appear again in second or subsequent declarations of preference, indicate the same selection code, only requiring a draw to take place when the said procedures are incapable of resolving the existing conflict(s).
In the eventuality of a draw, candidates participating in the draw will be called in alphabetical order of the candidates' names.
