“O meu selo preferido” (My favourite stamp) is the theme of the competition that ANACOM decided to launch, challenging children aged between 6 and 12 years old, resident on Ilha Terceira (Autonomous Region of the Azores) to visit the exhibition ''Selos Portugueses de Além-Mar'' (Portuguese Stamps from Overseas) open to the public, up to 30 March 2020, at Luís da Silva Ribeiro Public Library and Regional Archive, in Angra do Heroísmo, and draw their favourite stamp.
This competition aimed to raise awareness among young people about the works on display and show the value of stamps as a form of artistic expression that tells stories and conveys culture, encouraging them to express their creativity.
The deadline for receiving the drawings is 31 March 2020.
A selection panel will appraise all the drawings and choose the winners, who will receive prizes.
