The Chairman of the Board of Directors of ANACOM, João Cadete de Matos, and Communications Security Director, Manuel Pedrosa de Barros, received a visiting US government delegation headed by the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Cyber and International Communications and Information Policy, Robert L. Strayer on 18 February.
This visit provided an opportunity to exchange experiences and review ongoing actions in the two countries on the subject of cybersecurity in electronic communications networks, in particular 5G networks, during which time the common desire to develop close ties in this field was emphasised.
