The expert working group on Net Neutrality (EWG NN) met last 2-3 March at the BEREC/Independent Regulators Group secretariat in Brussels to continue work on producing the guide envisaged in Regulation (EU) 2015/2120 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 November 2015, which establishes measures regarding open internet access.
Also discussed were the options and key aspects to include when drawing up that guide in order to make the regulation’s application clearer, bearing in mind the net neutrality principle.
The guide will be submitted to public consultation, most likely in June 2016, so that final approval can take place in August, as foreseen in that regulation.
