On National and International Cyber Security Exercises - Survey, Analysis and Recommendations

Report by the European Network and Information Security Agency (ENISA) aims to support European and International bodies involved in cyber security exercises, through the lessons learned from previous exercises and recommendations to adopt in the future.

Cyber security exercises are an important tool to assess the preparedness of a community against cyber attacks, and to identify technical failures and critical information on infrastructure incidents. The report presents the results of the research and analysis by ENISA in 2012, supported in the 85 national and international cyber security exercises carried out between 2002 and 2012. Of the 84 countries that participated in the multinational exercises, 22 are European countries.
