Two months after launching COM.escolha, ANACOM has added a set of improvements and new features to the tool, resulting from experience compiled from the tool’s functioning and also following comments and suggestions received from service providers and from consumers.
The introduced measures include:
- More access options: Availability of COM.escolha mobilehttps://www.anacom.pt/tarifarios/PaginaInicial.do?hc=off&ssl=off&languageId=0&channel=mobile&rad=OT3, which lets Smartphone users and users of mobile equipment access ANACOM’s tariff consultation and simulation tool. The link is available from ANACOM’s website at www.anacom.pt/mobilehttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?categoryId=2958;
- Further information: A new area to highlight relevant notes on tariffs next to the price on the page summarising the results and the addition of short help messages to explain the different concepts.
- Simpler fields: television service can now be simulated without having to pre-select television channels;
- More results: More results from “consult tariffs” option for all tariffs containing the service the user is looking for, even when combined with other services (previously this was only possible with the “simulate consumption” option).
These improvements are a further step in providing a service which has already had 25,082 visitors (with around 200 thousand operations performed) since its launch. The information provided on the service is the responsibility of the service providers taking part in the project.
