The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) – UN agencies for telecommunications and information society - has recently launched a request for expression of interest to experts who wish to join the Independent Management Advisory Committee (IMAC) of this international organization. IMAC elements will be requested advice in areas such as internal and external audit, risk management, financial statements, accounting and assessment.
Applications must be sent to ITU until August 22nd.
IMAC was formally created during the last ITU Plenipotentiaries Conference (Guadalajara, October 4-22, 2010), aiming to provide assistance and advice to the EU Council and the Secretary-General, namely to ensure the correct application of internal control systems, risk management and administrative processes.
