Radio interfaces - updated technical specifications

By determination of 3 November 2009, ANACOM has decided to update the technical interface specifications applicable to certain categories of radio equipment in accordance with paragraph 7 of article 30 of Decree-Law No. 192/2000 of 18 August. The new law covers short-range devices (SRD), stations of the amateur service, stations of the aeronautical radionavigation service, stations of the maritime radionavigation service, stations of the fixed and fixed satellite service, stations of the aeronautical mobile and maritime mobile service, stations of the mobile satellite and land mobile service, as well as stations of the broadcasting service.

In compliance with the provisions of Decree-Law No 58/2000 of 18 April, the draft update of these specifications have been sent to IPQ - Instituto Português da Qualidade (Portuguese Quality Institute), the organisation responsible for notifying the European Commission.
