ANACOM website with Text-Only Version

Autoridade Nacional de Comunicações (ANACOM) is joining the commemorations of the European Year of People with Disabilities 2003, by starting up the text-only version of its Internet site.

In accordance with international standards on the subject of accessibility, namely  those  set out by the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI), by the W3C consortium (Word Wide Web Consortium W3C), ANACOM's text-only version enables people with special needs to an easier access to the internet  contents .

At the present time, the ANACOM Internet site is on the best practices of Public Administration's most advanced Internet sites, and has been prepared to run on any type of screen, from the address http://www.anacom.p/txt.
