NNP - Establishment of new ''761'' and ''762'' codes
By determination of 11 January 2007, within the scope of assignments provided for in article 6, paragraph 1, points b) and h) of the Statutes, approved by Decree-Law no. 309/2001, of 7 December, and pursuant to article 17, point b) and to article 34 of Law no. 5/2004, of 10 February, and aiming to achieve the regulation objectives provided for in article 5, paragraph 4, point d) of the same law, it was decided as follows:
1. To establish the "761" and "762" codes, with tariff ceilings per call of 1€ and 2€, respectively (prices do not include VAT), to designate them as flat-rate call services, to define their features, and to lay down the allocation criteria and conditions attached to the rights of use for numbers, for the provision of this services;
2. To submit the intended decision to the prior hearing of interested parties, according to articles 100 and 101 of the Code of Administrative Procedure, and to the general consultation procedure, provided for under article 8 of the Electronic Communications Law, setting a time limit of 20 working days at the most so that interested parties may assess this issue;
3. To request an opinion on the intended decision from the Instituto do Consumidor (Consumer Institute), DECO, FENACOOP, UGC and ACOP, within 20 working days, bearing in mind its effects on consumer interests.
