Broadband access wholesale market
By determination of 24 November 2004, draft decision relating to the product markets and geographic markets definition, significant market power evaluation (SMP) and imposition, maintenance, change or elimination of regulatory obligations in the broadband access wholesale market (market 12 of the EU Recommendation 2003/311/EC, of 11 February 2003) and the launch of the corresponding general consultation procedure, to which was fixed a 30-working day deadline, were approved.
In addition, it was also promoted prior hearing to the interested parties, appointed in accordance with the Rules of Administrative Procedure (PT Group companies that supply the services in question, electronic communications network operators and electronic communications service providers accessible to the public), on this draft decision, pursuant to Articles 100 and 101 of the same Code, having for this purpose been fixed the same 30-working day deadline.
Comments from the interested entities should be submitted in writing and be sent to ANACOM, preferably by e-mail, to the address 
mercados_blarga@anacom.pt.
This draft decision is also submitted to advice of the Competition Authority, pursuant to Article 61 of Law no. 5/2004, of 10 February. It was also decided to submit it to the specific consultation procedure foreseen in article 57 of the same Law, with the resulting notice to the European Commission and to the national regulatory authorities (NRA) of the remaining Member-states.
