Suspension of leased line offer to HLC (decision)

By resolution dated March 6, 2002, the suspension of the leased line service by PT Comunicações S.A. to HLC - Telecomunicações e Multimédia, S.A. was authorised due to serious and reiterated failure to comply with their contractual obligations pursuant to articles 27, no.3 and 26, no. 2 and no. 4 of the Telecommunications Public Networks Operation Regulation approved by Decree-Law no. 290-A/99, of July 30.

HLC was reminded of the obligation to take the necessary measures to protect the interests of their clients, having been warned about the possibility of suspension or termination of the services they were rendering as contained, namely, in Decree-Law no. 290-B/99, of July 30, in Decree-Law no. 474/99, of November 8, and in Law no. 23/96, of July 26.
