Deadline for implementation of the illegibility conditions of portability requests of numbers which contract is suspended

By determination of 19 December 2002, the ICP-ANACOM'S Board of Directors approved a draft decision related to the deadline for implementation, by PT Comunicações (PTC), of the necessary conditions for illegibility of portability requests related to numbers which contract is suspended, consisting in the following:

"The Board of Directors acknowledges that there are no legal provisions that may allow the refusal of portability requests based on the respective contract being suspended and decides:

• To grant PTC a deadline of 30 days in order to implement the necessary conditions to prevent the refusal of portability requests based on the respective contract being suspended;
  
  
• To open a previous written hearing, pursuant to articles 100 and 101 of the Rules of Administrative Procedure, to discuss the 30-day deadline granted to PTC for the above-mentioned implementation."
